REMOVE CLUTTER, clutter distracts buyers from seeing the potential of your space! All countertops and surfaces should be cleared of everyday items such as paperwork, keys, dishes, clothing, hair care and personal hygiene products.DE-PERSONALIZE, remember that your home is now a product on the market, It needs to appeal to the general public. Remove items such as family photos, personal collections, items on the refrigerator, and your teenager’s poster collection.
TURN LIGHTS ON, light sells homes! It makes the space warm and inviting. Turn all overhead lights, accent lights, and lamps. Clean your light fixtures and replace all missing bulbs. Clean lights sparkle.
THINK OF YOUR VIEW, a beautiful view is an extension of your home. Open all blinds and curtains to emphasize space and light. If the view is less than favorable still let light filter in.
EXTERIOR OF YOUR HOME shows best if all vehicles are in the garage and garage doors are kept closed. Walk around your yard and make sure tools, toys, old pots, dead plants are all removed. Power wash the house, walks and driveway. Mulch gardens and planters.
Ask me about showcasing your home and having it move in ready economically. Move in ready homes sell for more. That’s more money in your pocket. Give me a call for your summer move.
